Lori Desormeaux Decorative Arts is Western New York's finest source for residential and commercial decorative artwork, specializing in high-quality painted wall finishes, murals and fescoes, glass and tile mosaics, woodgraining, and marbleizing.
Lori was graduated in 1991 with a B.S. in Design from SUNY Buffalo State College, where her course of studies included the history of art, color theory, painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic and interior design.
Having worked in the design industry for ten years, where she worked intensively on fine artistic wall finishes, murals, frescoes, glass and tile mosaics, painted and textural effects, and faux treatments of all kinds, she founded Lori Desormeaux Decorative Arts in 2001.
In 2004, Lori's work was featured on the cover of Builder/Architect magazine. In 2006 she was featured in Artvoice. In 2007 her Klimt-inspired kitchen backsplash mosaic was featured in Buffalo Spree Magazine, as well as on public radio and local network television news.
Projects include estates and private residences, commercial and retail spaces, as well as entertainment facilities, public buildings, churches and corporate offices. Work accepted locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
